Mr. Sajid Inam, Chairman of the Higher Education Regulatory Authority (HERA), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, met Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad.

The two leaders discussed national and provincial priorities for quality assurance, institutional standards, and cooperation between HEC and provincial regulators. They agreed on the importance of aligned policies that safeguard students while supporting legitimate private institutions.

The dialogue reflects HERA’s role as the provincial regulator working in step with federal higher-education frameworks.
